Built Heritage Research Group

We are a team formed by researchers and investigators from different areas of knowledge: anthropology, archaeology, architecture, financial economics, history of art, geodesic, cartographic and photogrammetric engineering and chemistry), belonging to six departments distributed among the campuses of Araba, Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.

We work with common objectives around built heritage and cultural landscapes: on the one hand, the creation of instruments for the management and protection of the built heritage and, on the other, the empowerment of the architecture itself as a document for the Knowledge of the historical, social and productive contexts that generate it.
